Engineering Research Methodology (2 Credits)

This course on Research Methodology equips students with the fundamental skills required for conducting systematic and effective research, with a focus on engineering applications. It covers key aspects such as problem formulation, data extraction and analysis, research reporting, and communication of findings. Designed to prepare students for their bachelor theses or internships, the course emphasizes critical thinking, use of bibliographic tools, and adherence to academic integrity through proper citation practices. Students will also gain hands-on experience with tools like LibreOffice, Zotero, and \(\LaTeX\), culminating in assignments, a mini research project, and a final exam to ensure mastery of the subject matter.
